In less than 30 days we will elect a new President. I’m reminded of Psalms 2 and how God is still in control of His creation.

Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.”

The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.

No matter who wins, let us celebrate “His” rule with trembling. His rule of our lives is what keeps us going as we serve Him here in Little Rock with FamilyLife.

After celebrating our 40^th anniversary at FamilyLife, we are well underway to host over 30 Weekend to Remember events between now and December.

As our culture goes through some of the most radical changes that we have seen as a people in the last 2000 years, we are more convinced than ever that we are in the right work to be able to lift up the Biblical standards for marriage and family.
