What a great Weekend to Remember in Jacksonville – St Augustine we had last weekend. Over 590 People came and were blessed by what God does when He shows up.

I should not be surprised that lives are forever changed at each one of these events, but I am still amazed at how our God alters the future for so many couples with new hope and tools for a better tomorrow.

This is just one of many comments from the weekend.

This retreat was the last resort for my husband and I.  Driving to the conference, I knew we were going to get a divorce.  The night before the retreat leading to the morning of, we got into a huge fight leaving me with the thought, “I think I will walk away now and cut my losses.  The retreat will not be enough.”  Our marriage has endured almost every possible negative situation you can imagine.  I felt tired, hopeless, and like God had ignored my prayers.  Friday’s session lit a spark in us, Saturday’s session left us feeling hopeful, new and empowered.  Sunday’s session – we felt equipped and ready to make it work.  We felt that God was restoring and we are using the tools.  I am so thankful for WTR and all the Staff.  You allowing God to work through you saved our marriage.  We have a lot of growing to do, but are now looking forward to what is in store in our marriage.

Married 7 years

I ran into some very dear friends from Florida at the event, Bert and Merle have been Resource Center Coordinator and Co-Planners for FamilyLife for many years. It was so great to see these veterans of the faith.

God is so good and kind to reveal more of Himself and His purpose for marriage at each event. Over 600 people will forever be changes as a result of this weekend alone. We will host 59 of these events just this spring.  Thank you for your part in making this forever life-change happen.         To God be the glory.
